Saving and Printing Whole Web Pages with FileLinx and Firefox

Printing out whole web pages in Android can be problematic. Firefox by Mozilla has solved this issue. With their latest free browser for Android, Firefox 5, Users are able to save any web page they visit as a PDF file to the SD card in their Android device. Once this is done, FileLinx can send or print that file to a User’s PC from anywhere in the world using Android. Firefox is available on the Android Market.

Sending Large Files with FileLinx

FileLinx is able to share any file type of any size between Android and a PC. However, FileLinx is dependent upon the network of the User. If the internet connection is slow, the transfer will be slow. FileLinx has no control over network speeds. For best transfer performance with large files, use a reliable and fast Wi-Fi network. Advertising to the contrary, 3G and 4G networks are not nearly as fast as Wi-Fi…and they can be expensive when you are talking about files of ½ Gigabyte or more.

Multiple Simultaneous Users with FileLinx Professional

Both versions of FileLinx supports multiple simultaneous Users, meaning more than one person can connect to the same PC at once.

This allows many different possibilities:

In a home environment; tablets and phones of different family members can have access to a single PC (or multiple PC’s with FileLinx Professional) functioning as a central point for; movies, photos, or documents. Each household member can log in from anywhere using Wi-Fi or 3G/4G.

In a business environment; employees would be able to log into a company computer to send and retrieve any file type from invoices and memos to learning materials or documents. FileLinx does not care what type of file is being shared.

Of course Users of FileLinx Professional have the flexibility to connect with up to 10 PC’s with the touch of a button as well as access to all files in any folder on any drive connected to the PC. The PC-side software is a free download from www.droidlinx.com .
